Tom Baker, Patent Attorney at Urquhart-Dykes & Lord LLP, has over 11 years experience in advising clients ranging through individuals to multi-nationals with protecting, managing and enforcing their intellectual property in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
Paul Arnold, Head of Tax at Bevan & Buckland will provide an overview of the tax benefits that can be derived from holding patents (i.e. the “Patent Box”), including an update of recent announcements regarding the regime. Paul specialises in advising technology based companies and is a current member of HMRC’s Research & Development (“R&D”) Consultative Committee.
