The event will have a series of informative talks on international marketing, so attendees can grow their enquiries from overseas.
Anna Bastek from multi-award winning Wolfestone, the largest language company in Wales, Entrepreneur of the Year, IoD Director of the Year, winner of over 30 business awards, will be sharing tips on International Marketing. Peter Guinsberg, MD of Aydon Consultants, will talk about “Global Business Solutions and the Pathway to Successful Exporting” and will expand on the activities of the Aydon Group.
Peter has over the last 30 years initiated and coordinated more than one hundred and fifty individual international trade projects and with nearly 40 years of international trading experience in general, he has developed close business relationships around the world.
He set up Aydon Consultants Ltd which now has a presence in 29 countries with associates in 50 plus other countries, virtually giving world-wide coverage in Eastern and Western Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania, assisting companies wishing to set up or expand export activities.
Aydon Consultants specialise in assisting companies wishing to enter new international markets, assisting experienced or first time exporters or companies wishing to expand existing exports.
Steve Griffiths, (Assistant Dean) Faculty of Business and Management will talk about “Exporting Education, with special reference to China”.
After a period working in industry, primarily British Steel and SONY, Steve worked for a labour union, a municipal authority and then began teaching. He has taught for the University of Wales centrally, Swansea University and Swansea Metropolitan University, which has now merged with other constituent colleges of the UW to become UWTSD for 15 years. His teaching interests include Managerial Economics, Marketing and Business Ethics. His research interests include Internet ethics, application of competition models and Internet marketing. Steve has led a number of research projects and consultancy projects.
For the central University of Wales Validation Unit, Steve has travelled extensively, counselling and supporting a number of independent universities world wide who offer UW awards. Countries visited include China, India, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Oman, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Sri Lanka as well as a number of European partners’ countries.
